Reasonwell Health is a consulting and advisory practice that supports mission-oriented healthcare companies solving problems at the intersection of product, strategy, and customer experience.
Reasonwell Health is led by Margaret Goldberg, an operator with 10+ years experience delivering innovative tech-enabled healthcare services primarily distributed in a B2B2C model. Margaret brings perspective from experience within healthcare incumbents (Humana, Change Healthcare, Vanderbilt University), ‘Big Tech’ (Amazon.com e-commerce and healthcare), and venture-backed startups (Season Health). She has led teams across functions including product, GTM strategy, business operations, and consumer engagement, and delivered high-value services to end users such as healthcare cost-transparency, a nationwide virtual-first primary care service, and a digital food-as-medicine product for individuals with chronic conditions.
Like many, Margaret was drawn to a career in healthcare after personal experience highlighted the many opportunities for improvement from the patient perspective. Later, Margaret experienced different aspects of the system as a caregiver for her two parents that suffered from separate, complex illnesses. She has a deep appreciation for the needs of patients and families who are the end users of healthcare.
Geographically, Margaret is a conundrum wrapped in an enigma. Born in Central Florida to two Midwesterners, she attended college at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She later moved to friendly and fun Nashville, TN, for Vanderbilt’s Healthcare MBA program (and stayed a couple extra years for the good vibes and music!). Next came a seven-year stint in Seattle, WA, where she had the opportunity to explore all of the natural beauty and crunchiness the Pacific Northwest had to offer. Today, Margaret lives in Santa Monica, CA, with her husband and top dawg, Edith Goldberg. Having connections to communities of different shapes and sizes has highlighted disparities in access to care and the core components of wellbeing that inspire Margaret to partner with teams who are making an impact in areas where it is most needed.
